The collection of José Castro, 'Dawn' presented in Cibeles Fashion Week has been rewarded by the award to the best collection that delivers annually the signature L'Oréal. Since it is traditional, also there has been rewarded the best model of the footbridge of Madrid, a recognition that this year has relapsed into Carla Crombie.
The Galician designer has been one of the big surprises of this one 50 Cibeles edition, presented a risky collection that has conquered the jury of the awards L'Oréal in the same way who did it with the present public in the parade. Being inspired in the tribes and the fauna of the Amazon, Castro has been praised by a coloring, eccentric and very exotic fashion in what he has supposed his second participation in Cibeles.
José Castro born in Pontevedra, and postgraduate from Royal College of Art of London, has worked for signatures as Dolce and Gabanna, Alexander McQueen, Marina Rinaldi or Unequally. After consolidating his career in Paris, it takes two periods presenting his collections in Cibeles. The award granted by L'Oréal will bring an editoral in a fashionable magazine in addition to a series of promotional activities of his collection.
The act of delivery of the awards L'Oreal, presented by the actress and model Blanca Romero, also has rewarded the best model on the footbridge. The winner has been Carla Crombie, daughter of Catalan father and English mother. The 24-year-old model, is a beginner in the world of the fashion, since only it takes one year being raised to the footbridges.
